Leashes & Leads was established and opened in 2008 by Nell Mitchell (aunt Nell) and Jerry & Ruth Fischer. They aspired to open a business in a growing industry, one in which they could honor their faith in Jesus Christ, and in an industry where they can have FUN. In 2008, Leashes & Leads opened her doors providing the following services for dogs: Boarding, Doggy Daycare, Training, Grooming, and Retail. We wanted to become the One-stop Shop for dogs in Southeastern Minnesota. Our driving philosophy that informs everything we do is doing "Whats Best For Dogs.." that is our DNA. It is this core value that impacts everything we do from what products we offer on our shelves to the cleaning standards we utilize.
